Every garden needs hummingbirds! These tiny jeweled birds are a joy to observe zipping about from flower to flower. Sometimes they zoom by you close enough so that you can hear the whir of their wings and rapid trilling chirps. Because of their fast metabolisms, they have to eat every 10 to 15 minutes and will visit a 1,000 to 2,000 flowers per day!
